Joseph A. Norman
Joseph A. Norman is an accomplished oil and gas upstream optimization consultant and the owner of FORTY A&M LLC, dba FluidLevels. A native of Midland, Texas, Joseph graduated from Midland Lee High School before studying broadcast journalism and theatre arts at Texas Tech University. However, his passion for the oil and gas industry led him back to the Permian Basin, where he joined his father's contract operating business, Midland Lease Operators, in 2006.
In 2007, Joseph successfully negotiated his first major deal-a $15 million buyout of an oil and gas operator's assets in the Permian Basin-establishing himself as a formidable player in the industry.
In 2012, he and his wife founded FORTY A&M LLC to help operators optimize artificial lift systems. Using advanced data monitoring tools, their company has been instrumental in preventing equipment failures and reducing operating expenses. Over the years, FORTY A&M LLC has expanded its
services to include automation and bottom hole assembly tools, assisting over 45 different operators with their optimization needs.
Throughout his career, Joseph has recognized a lack of high environmental standards in the oil and gas industry and has made it his mission to address these issues. His passion for the responsible resource recovery of oil and gas reserves has led him to a new focus-remediating soil contaminated
by hydrocarbons and produced water spills. That's why he partnered with other like-minded individuals to start JXJ Distributors LLC, an environmentally friendly remediation services company dedicated to restoring land impacted by oilfield operations.
Under his leadership, FluidLevels and JXJ Distributors are driving innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility in oil and gas operations.
